Teenage Mental Health & Counselling in Grantham, Lincolnshire & Online
Psychological therapy for teenagers and young people
Adolescence can be a challenging time. Young people may experience anxiety, low mood, stress, difficulties with confidence, friendship or family relationships, or feel overwhelmed by the pressures of school and everyday life.
I offer confidential, compassionate psychological therapy for adolescents in Grantham, Lincolnshire, and online, providing a safe and supportive space where young people can talk openly about what they are experiencing.
As a Counselling Psychologist, I work collaboratively with adolescents to help them understand their emotions, develop healthier ways of coping, and build greater confidence and resilience.

A safe space for teenagers to talk
Teenagers do not always find it easy to explain how they are feeling. Sometimes changes in behaviour, withdrawal, irritability, difficulties at school or changes in relationships can be signs that a young person is struggling emotionally.
Psychological therapy can give adolescents dedicated time and space to explore their experiences without judgement. We can work together to understand what may be contributing to their difficulties and develop practical strategies to help them manage emotions, navigate challenges and feel more able to cope.
My approach is collaborative and age-appropriate, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the work.
Support for Parents and Carers
It can be difficult to know how best to support a teenager who is struggling with their mental health. Parents and carers may feel worried, uncertain or unsure about what to do next.
Where appropriate, I can work with parents or carers alongside the young person's therapy, helping them understand their child's difficulties and consider ways of providing supportive, constructive responses at home.
Confidentiality and the young person's privacy are important aspects of adolescent therapy, and these are discussed clearly at the beginning of the therapeutic process.
